The Park is a quiet area southwest of the lake with an abundance of mature trees, walking trails, and bike paths.
The Park will feature a bevy of entertainment options including horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, and disc golf. There may even be a community garden producing fresh produce.

The Peninsula is surrounded on three sides by water. The plans for the peninsula call for 60+ BayHomes, as shown here. The homes may be offered as full-service, fractionally owned units.

The area at the eastern edge of the property is designated for commercial development. As the Lake Oliver community grows, this area will features shops and venues for small service businesses.

The southeastern portion of the lake will be excavated and filled with water in the second phase of construction adding nearly 100 acres of lake surface and many spectacular homesites with uninterrupted views across a wide expanse of water.

This chain of small lakes will feature a series of waterfalls as water cascades from the high ground to the low. Homesites along the Cascades will offer the serenity of a babbling brook, a network of footpaths, and nature at your doorstep.

This small island will be an ideal spot to pull up the boat, unpack the picnic basket, and enjoy the sunshine.
Upon completion, the earthen dam that will form the southern edge of Lake Oliver will be nearly a mile and a half long and 45' high at the deepest part of the lake. The dam will rise five feet above the typical water level and will be capped by a bike path and walking trail.

The Marina will provide boat docks for the Peninsula and other off-lake property owners. The Marina may also offer seasonal or ad hoc boat rentals for Lake Oliver residents providing access to a fleet of pontoon boats, PWCs, sail boats, and fishing boats.

The Clubhouse will offer a great resource for Lake Oliver residents to socialize, eat, drink and relax. Plans call for a dining room, snack bar, pool, tennis courts, platform tennis, putting green, and beach area.

The main water body of Lake Oliver will eventually cover more than 300 acres and have nearly five miles of shoreline. The shoreline will be carefully graded to maximize water quality, views, and accessibility. The lake will average 14 feet of water depth with isolated areas as deep as 35 - 40 feet. Plans call for the lake to be stocked with a variety of sport fish.

The waterfront lots at Lake Oliver are designed for comfortable single-family homes. Most lots are configured with 70 feet of width at the building-setback line. Because of the undulating shoreline, some lots have more waterfront than others.

Portions of the site plan anticipate having one- and two-bedroom condominium buildings offering lakefront views and easy access to the clubhouse, pool and beach.

What recreational hot spot would be complete without a first-class golf course? The rolling hills, abundant water sources, and mature trees offer great raw material for a course designer. An 18-hole course is in the long-range plans for the Lake Oliver development.

A series of constructed wetlands and retention ponds will be used to store and naturally clean water before it is transferred to the main lake.

The South Fork of the Vermillion River is one of the primary water sources for Lake Oliver. Water will be pumped from the river to fill and maintain the lake.
